GCAI & MNLUM Sign Mou

We are pleased to share that GCAI has signed an MoU with Maharashtra National Law University Mumbai.

This association of MNLUM with GCAI will develop synergies between the academic and professional excellence for the benefit of young professionals and students looking to enhance the industry sector capabilities.

On this occasion Prof. Dr. Anil Gopal Variath, Registrar, MNLU Mumbai commented, ‘I look forward to this collaboration and we are privileged to sign MoU with the General Counsel Association of India.’ He further expresses his confidence saying, ‘We have developed various Centre of Excellence and this association with GCAI is a step in that direction.’

Chirag Balyan, Assistant Professor, MNLU Mumbai said that ‘There was always a need for an association of GCs. We as a National Law University feel that it will bring better research, pieces of training, and practical experience to students.’

Raghu C.V., Group General Counsel, Samvardhana Motherson Group, and President General Counsel Association of India express his happiness on signing MoU with MNLU and stated that ‘It is a very important milestone for GCAI. We have had a very good decision with the Registrar of MLUM to develop various activities. I am thankful to GCs from Mumbai who blessed this occasion with their very kind presence.”

At the ceremony, MNLUM and GCAI also deliberated about conceptualising a centre dedicated to arbitration and mediation for the benefit of the Industry.
