Tejal Patil

Is the Senior Legal Advisor for India & South Asia for OYO Hotels and Homes, a start-up unicorn since September 2020 and a key member of the OYO Global leadership. She is based in New Delhi.

An industry veteran with over 27 years of legal, compliance, risk and governance experience across Asia Pacific, Tejal has provided strategic and risk advise to CEOs, senior management and Board of Directors, assisted in accelerating growth as well as keeping the company safe. Tejal joined OYO after 19 years at the global conglomerate, GE (General Electric Company) as General Counsel, South Asia. Her previous experience includes Asia Pacific roles with GE’s healthcare, consumer and industrial and aviation businesses, as General Counsel based in Singapore and Tokyo.

She has been recognized in the Legal 500 GC Powerlist, GC Influencers (Chambers), Top 100 Powerful Women in Law, ICCA and for her Exemplary Contribution to the Compliance Eco-System.
