Programme Details
Youth Unchained through Knowledge & Transformative Internships (YUKTI) is designed to empower future lawyers in India through a structured internship programme covering all facets of legal work, from litigation to regulatory issues, while placing an emphasis on ethics, governance and professional responsibility.
Outcomes
Students who complete the programme with adequate performance, attendance and behaviour earn a certificate of completion, which is recognised towards their mandatory internship requirements at their university.
Learning Methodology
GCAI has outlined the overall scope, focus areas, key objectives of the internship programme.

Autonomy for Participating Organizations
Participating organisations will set the goals and requirements for their segment.

Expert-Led Mentorship
Faculty will include senior representatives from participating organisations.

Industry and Government Engagements
Government and industry visits for students will be organised by GCAI.

Understand the principles that sustain ethical business conduct, minimize risks, and ensure regulatory integrity.

Contracts, Conflicts & The Courts
Gain exposure to the life cycle of commercial contracts, dispute management, and the litigation process.
The Students’ Scope of Learning
Through YUKTI, students will have the opportunity to learn from industry veterans about their area of expertise, thus gaining an important early-exposure to their industry of choice.
Automobile
Students will learn all about contracts, labour law, and trade unions while also understanding the litigation side of the automobile sector.
Aviation & Defence
This course will focus on liability, safety, and consumer protection, along with current aviation policy trends.
IT Services & Technology
Students will take a deep dive into the specifics of Master Service Agreements (MSAs): what it is, its function, and a clause-by-clause breakdown on how they are drafted.
Media & Entertainment Law
This section will cover intellectual property, the different types of contracts in this sector, along with digital rights management.
Litigation
This section is designed to foster proficiency in drafting pleadings and witness statements, navigating cross-border litigation, and understanding the legal frameworks of white-collar crime.
Alternate Dispute Resolution
Students will gain an in-depth understanding of ADR, along with its different types and global best practices.
Certificate of Completion
Students will require a minimum of 80% attendance and satisfactory behaviour and performance to earn a Certificate of Completion of the corporate internship.
This certificate shall be jointly issues by all participating companies/law firms and GCAI at a convocation ceremony.
This certificate shall be recognised by the participating law university towards their mandatory internship requirements.
